Emma follows a template’s sections when she drafts. Open Library and click the Templates tab. Saved templates are structures, not downloadable files.

Upload a template

1

On the Templates tab, click Add New, then Upload template

2

Choose the files

They are saved as proposal templates.
3

Add a title and description

Say when to use the template, for example “Technical proposal, public sector IT services”.
4

Click Upload

Save and use a structure

When a working document in a Bid Room has a structure worth reusing, click Save as template in the editor. It appears on the Templates tab as a Saved template. To use a template in a draft, click Select from templates in the editor and pick one from the current tender, the library or your saved templates. See Documents and editor.

Edit a saved template

1

On the Templates tab, click a saved template

Edit template opens.
2

Change the Name and the Description

The description tells Emma when the template should be used.
3

Edit the Structure

Use headings to define the proposal sections. Reyda shows how many sections it detected.
4

Click Save changes

Buyer-provided forms come first. If a tender includes its own response form or template, Emma aims to complete that form in its required format rather than replace it with yours. Use your templates for the parts the buyer leaves open, such as a technical proposal or a method statement.

Ask Emma

Emma can create and update proposal templates; on the Library page, her starter Improve templates helps you tidy up your set. Check her changes before your team uses them.
