Where Emma’s evidence comes from
Depending on the request, Emma reads:- opportunity and notice data, and the tender documents;
- the Bid Room’s files, requirements and comments;
- your company profile, past projects and Library, including snippets and templates;
- files and emails you attach to the conversation;
- Reyda’s market data on buyers, suppliers and past awards;
- public web pages, through web search or Emma’s browser;
- SharePoint, Google Drive and Notion, if you have connected them (see Connect SharePoint, Google Drive and Notion).
The Sources panel
The Sources panel lists the evidence and files from the conversation, grouped into:- Cited in an answer: sources Emma cites in a reply.
- Read during the chat: sources Emma opened while working.
- Provided in the conversation: files you attached or mentioned.
Citations in replies and documents
Emma marks cited claims with citation markers. Hover over a marker to preview the passage. A citation can also show:- Needs review: the cited text has changed or could not be found. Check the claim against the original passage shown.
- Source unavailable: the source can no longer be opened.
Citation markers are for your review only. Files you download or export contain no citation
markers.
Evidence over invention
Emma follows a few firm rules about evidence:- No invented facts. She doesn’t make up figures, certifications, references, sources or past projects. If the proof isn’t in your workspace or a source she can reach, she leaves it out of the document and tells you what’s missing.
- Gaps go to you, not the buyer. Buyer-facing documents contain only the response. Assumptions, caveats and missing evidence go in Emma’s report to you.
- Conflicts are shown, not hidden. When two sources disagree, for example the notice and a later addendum, Emma doesn’t quietly pick one. She tells you which she followed and why.
- Past bids are leads. Text from an earlier proposal points Emma to evidence. She traces the claim back to its source before reusing it.
- Instructions inside documents are ignored. Emma treats the content of documents, web pages and emails as information to use, not as instructions to follow.
- Weak results are reported. If a search finds nothing relevant, Emma says so instead of filling the gap.
