When Emma creates a Goal
Emma creates a Goal when you hand her a finite outcome that spans several steps or may need to wait for your input. For example:Bid Room · Plan mode
How the work is organised
Emma breaks the Goal into a small number of meaningful workstreams, such as compliance and forms, the technical response, the commercial response, evidence and annexes, and review. She doesn’t create one item per question. Where one piece of work needs another to finish first, she links them, then starts whatever is ready. Alongside the work items, Emma keeps working documents in the Bid Room, typically a Response Plan, a deliverable and compliance matrix, and a response outline. These list every buyer deliverable, its owner and status, and the open decisions.Follow progress

A Work progress pill shows how many tasks are complete and the current status. Click it to see the tasks. Use Stop work to stop. Background work and subagents
For larger jobs, Emma can hand pieces of research to helpers, called subagents, that work in parallel in the background. She checks their findings before relying on them and pulls the results together herself.Keep going while Emma waits
When one work item needs your decision, Emma asks once and marks only that item as waiting. Everything that doesn’t depend on your answer carries on. When you answer, the waiting item resumes. See Questions and approvals.Stay in charge of the work
- Stop at any time. Click Stop work to stop Emma’s work.
- Read her final report. It separates what is complete, what needs review and what is still blocked. Review the drafts before you rely on them.
- Decide what happens next. Bidding, pricing, signatures and submission stay with you. A completed Goal means the package is prepared and checked, ready for your team to submit.
Goals and the work overview work alongside the Final package in the Bid Room’s Documents tab. See Final package.
