The opportunity briefing is a routine that sends one summary of opportunities Emma has qualified for your company, daily or weekly, by email or in Slack.

How it works

  1. Reyda matches new notices against your company profile every day. Each match gets a verdict and an explanation of why it matched your profile, without any work from Emma. See How matching works.
  2. You can ask Emma to qualify an opportunity, in chat or through a review routine. She reads the notice and the documents Reyda holds, checks them against your profile and evidence, and can save a bid/no-bid report on the opportunity’s Pipeline item. See Bid/no-bid report.
  3. At the scheduled time, the briefing sends Emma’s qualifications that haven’t been briefed yet. If there is nothing new, it sends nothing.
The briefing runs in the morning in your timezone, every day or every Monday.
For a regular summary with Emma’s view on new matches, set up a review routine. See Have Emma review new matches on a schedule.

What a qualification does

Emma’s qualification is information for your decision, not an action. A relevant match or a positive review doesn’t create a Bid Room or start a response. Emma reuses the opportunity’s existing Pipeline item for her report instead of creating another one. You decide whether to pursue and whether to bid.

Before you start

  • Your organization needs an active plan. Emma’s qualification work and routine runs use AI credits.
  • The briefing is set up automatically for owners, admins and editors when they start using Reyda.
  • To receive it by Email, Emma’s mailbox must be set up. To receive it in Slack, an admin must connect Slack.

Choose how often and where

The briefing settings live in Settings → Notifications. This tab is available to owners and admins.

It can’t be switched on until a destination is available, and the briefing doesn’t run while it is off.

Find it in Routines

The briefing also appears on the Routines page as Opportunity briefing. You can change its schedule or pause it there. Reyda manages what it does, so you can’t edit its instruction. See Routines.
Briefing, digest and search profile emails. These are different. The opportunity briefing summarises opportunities Emma has qualified. Search profiles can also send their own Email updates for new results. See Search profiles and alerts and Notifications.

Have Emma review new matches on a schedule

A routine only qualifies opportunities when its instruction explicitly asks Emma to review them. The briefing schedule on its own doesn’t.
1

Start a new routine

Open Routines and click New routine, or ask Emma in chat to set one up.
2

Set the schedule

Choose On a schedule, for example Every weekday, and set the Time.
3

Write the instruction

In What it does, tell Emma which opportunities to review and what to report.

4

Choose delivery and create the routine

Under Delivery method, choose In chat or Slack, then click Create routine.
Each run is a normal Emma task and uses credits. See Routines.
