When Emma uses the browser
Emma uses the browser when the authoritative answer is on a public website and Reyda’s own data or a web search isn’t enough. For example:- confirming a deadline or a notice change on the buyer’s portal;
- checking for new clarification answers or addenda;
- reading a buyer’s published strategy or policy;
- looking at a portal you have no feed for.
Watch and take control
The browser opens beside the chat automatically when Emma starts browsing. You can also open it with Open browser in the chat header. The panel works like a normal browser, with tabs, Back, Forward, Reload and an address bar. To step in:1
Click Take control
The panel shows You have control, and Emma pauses her actions in the browser.
2
Do what's needed
Do what’s needed, for example sign in to the portal or accept a cookie banner.
3
Click Return to agent
The panel shows Agent has control and Emma carries on from the current page.
After Emma finishes
- Pages Emma left open stay available for a while after her work completes, so you can look at what she found.
- Sign-ins can carry over. If you sign in to a portal in the browser, you may not need to sign in again in another chat.
Steps that need you
Emma stops and asks you, with a Needs input card, when a site needs:- a sign-in or registration you haven’t authorised;
- a CAPTCHA, identity check or two-factor code;
- a payment, or acceptance of terms;
- a declaration only a person can make.
How you stay in control
- Portal actions stay with you. Emma reads and checks portals. Submitting bids, registering interest and messaging buyers are left to you.
- Your network stays separate. The browser runs inside Reyda, isolated from your computer and company network, and only reaches public websites.
- You can step in at any time. Click Take control whenever you want. If the browser runs into a problem, the rest of Emma’s work carries on.
- You can check her findings. Emma cites the pages she relied on.
