Short answers to the questions bid teams ask most. Each answer links to the page with the full detail. ## Getting started > [accordion] How do I sign in with Google or Microsoft? > > You can't. Reyda uses email and password only. If you forgot your password, click **Forgot password?** on the sign-in page. > [accordion] Reyda won't accept my email address when I sign up. > > Reyda requires a work email address. Personal and disposable addresses, such as free webmail, are rejected. Use your company address. > [accordion] I signed up but can't log in. > > Verify your email first. On the sign-in page, click **Resend verification email** if you can't find the link. > [accordion] I asked to join my company's workspace and nothing happened. > > An owner or admin must approve your request under **Settings → Members → Members Request**. While you wait, you can click **Send Reminder**. Reminders are limited; see [Limits](https://reyda.mintlify.site/reference/limits.md). The mobile navigation does not include **Pipeline** or **Snippets**, so use a desktop browser for those. ## Emma > [accordion] Why can't I use Emma? > > Viewers cannot use Emma. Ask an owner or admin to change your role to **Editor**. See [Roles and permissions](https://reyda.mintlify.site/account/roles-and-permissions.md). > [accordion] Is “Assistant” or “Reyda AI” different from Emma? > > No, it's the same Emma. On a computer, you open her with **Open Emma** at the bottom of the sidebar. On a phone, the menu item is called **Assistant**, and some screens call her "Reyda AI". > [accordion] Does Emma remember previous conversations? > > Not yet. Each new conversation starts fresh, and Emma doesn't see your other chats. She works from what is saved in your workspace, such as documents, Bid Rooms, the Library and your company profile. That's always yours to do on the buyer's portal. Emails from her mailbox wait for your approval, unless an admin has allowed her to send on her own. Pricing, bid/no-bid and submission decisions always come back to you. If a claim has no source, treat it as unverified and ask Emma for the evidence. Click the thumbs-down icon (**Not relevant**) on bad matches and pick a reason. Check back shortly. > [accordion] I can't find a tender I know exists. > > Switch to **Browse**, search by title, buyer or reference, and clear your filters. > [accordion] The Documents tab on a notice is empty. > > Click **Fetch documents**. If it fails, download the files from the portal and use **Upload Document**. ## Pipeline and Bid Room > [accordion] I can't generate proposed buyer questions. > > Generation needs the notice's documents. Fetch or upload them first. AI features also need a paid plan once the free trial ends. > [accordion] Where is the compliance matrix? > > Ask Emma to run a compliance check in the Bid Room. The extracted requirements are on the **Requirements** tab. See [Requirements](https://reyda.mintlify.site/bid-room/requirements.md). > [accordion] I can't edit a PDF form. > > Encrypted, XFA-based and signed PDFs can't be edited in Reyda. Ask the buyer for an editable version, or ask Emma to prepare the answers in a separate document. > [accordion] My spreadsheet says “Saving unavailable: workbook contains images”. > > Reyda can't save spreadsheets that contain images. Remove the images from a copy, or fill that sheet outside Reyda. > [accordion] Can a subcontractor see our Bid Room? > > Only if you share it. Use **Share** to invite them as a guest with **Viewer** or **Editor** access. Guests see only what you share. Other members see **Preferences** and **Integrations** only. > [accordion] I want the briefing by email, but Email is greyed out. > > Email delivery needs Emma's mailbox to be set up. Choose Slack instead, or ask an admin to set up the mailbox. If there is nothing new, it sends nothing. Results appear in chat and can be copied to Slack.
